1. Fiscal Responsibility
I am profoundly concerned about the financial health of our country. For far too long our state government has failed to rein in spending that continues to increase the state debt. Both parties must come together to balance the state budget, keep taxes low and cooperate with each other to find fiscally responsible solutions to the challenges of improving our way of life. Since the inception of my campaign, I have demonstrated my unwavering resolve to exercise fiscal responsibility by publically committing NOT to accept so-called “Clean Elections” taxpayer matching money for my campaign.
2. Education
Empower students and parents with more flexibility in how they use education dollars. Local solutions are needed for local shortcomings, and the State Legislature should recognize that local communities, parents and schools know what's best for their children.
3. Secure Borders
Our nation's borders are fundamental to our national security and our sovereignty. For a legal immigration system to work, we must have a secure border so we know who is entering and departing the United States. 4. It's the Economy
Arizona businesses should be focusing on innovation, growth, training, and hiring new employees, not complying with the tax code. Let's balance the budget, then stop spending money we do not have. Printing money = lost jobs.
